Man Camp 2012:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
These words of Jesus touch us more deeply in times like today when so many are feeling the pressures of unemployment, reduced hours and increased work loads. These are in addition to so many things that seem to bombard our lives from health issues to struggling relationships.
The Good News is that the rest that Jesus has to offer transcends ALL of those things.
CBC Men's Ministry is offering a time of R&R again this year at Man Camp 2012. Come join us for a weekend of Peace & Rest as we relax and enjoy each other's company and drink in Refreshment from the Word. The cost includes 2 nights, 6 meals and a half day low ropes course. For an additional $10, you can also do the high ropes course.
You say, "How can I afford it in times like these?"
Men—How can you afford not to? You need refreshment and peace in your heart to face the battles of the day. Our desire is that God would provide the means for every man to attend. If you can't fit that in your budget, let us know. We would like to fill in the gap to help you get there. We would also like those of you who are in a better spot to consider how you might help those who aren't. Let us know if you would like to encourage another man by picking up some or all of his tuition. Praise God that we have some funds to help and some donations to add to that. Let's do our best to build up the leaders of our families and energize & refresh them to face the fiery darts from the world.
